The Job Youll Do;

  • Manage and maintain the QHSE management system in line with ISO 9001.
  • Hold regular meetings with management to implement process improvements promoting Quality and identifying NRFT.
  • Creation of KPI`s to show quality performance.
  • Ownership of NCR register and CAR process.
  • Collecting, analysing, and reporting of quality, health, safety, and environment statistics.
  • A strong presence on the shop floor to audit quality and identify poor practice.
  • Working with the production manager to support the development of SOP.
  • Provide leadership in all safety related matters and areas of operation both within Office and the factory.
  • Identification of operational improvement projects that simplify, standardise, or improve the safety and/or compliance of operations.
  • Develop and deliver a Health & Safety plan with a robust compliance framework which is appropriate and consistent with the relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Ensure risk assessments are carried out accurately, reviewed regularly and control measures are implemented appropriately, alongside the application of a continual improvement approach to reducing risks.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and pro-active H&S culture by coaching and influencing the management team and enhancing H&S competency across all areas of the business.
  • Proactively promote sustainability and carbon reduction within the company.
  • Develop an internal audit schedule and manage internal.
  • Foster an engaging continuous improvement culture.
  • Any other duties as required from time to time.

About You;

  • Experience/background within Electrical/Electronics manufacturing or similar (desirable)
  • Electrical qualification ideally as 18th edition (desirable).
  • Ideally Qualified to QMS or QMR level.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety.
  • NEBOSH Diploma in Health and Safety desirable but not essential
  • Quality assurance qualification or equivalent experience, ideally experience of ISO auditing.
  • Able to engage and positively influence others.
  • Highly organised and methodical approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to analyse and present information clearly verbally, visually and in writing.
  • Excellent Word, Excel, PowerPoint and business software skills.
  • Team player; works well as part of a team.
  • Being resilient and able to deal with the demands of the business.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Full driving licence.
