Premier Group are recruiting for a Quality Manager to join an Engineering company in Newcastle to work on the service and maintenance of their manufacturing and production machinery.
What Youll Do as a Quality Manager:
- Oversee and enhance the QHSE management system in line with ISO 9001
- Collaborate with management to implement process improvements
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality
- Lead the NCR register and Corrective Action processes
- Regularly audit shop floor practices to ensure compliance and high standards
- Partner with production teams to refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Provide leadership in all safety-related matters, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
- Drive sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives
- Foster a continuous improvement culture across the business
- Develop and manage internal audit schedules
- Assist with any other duties as required
- Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within the panel wiring or manufacturing industry
- Electrical qualifications (18th edition preferred)
- NEBOSH Certificate (NEBOSH Diploma a plus)
- Strong ISO auditing and quality assurance experience
