Job Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Holystone, North Tyneside
Remuneration: 61,600 - 70,000 per annum
Contract Details: Temporary, 10 months, Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of projects for funds, developers, and occupiers while supporting Directors on larger projects.
- Select, appoint, and manage design teams in developing design solutions, planning applications, and statutory approvals.
- Administer complex building contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Assist with compiling tender documents, critically reviewing returns, and negotiating contracts.
- Develop project documentation, including fee schedules, programmes, risk schedules, and master budgets.
- Produce comprehensive client reports at all project stages.
- Manage and nurture client relationships throughout the project cycle.
- Interpret contracts and implement change management, resolving disputes and ensuring project controls are in place.
- Engage in business development internally and externally, leveraging existing client relationships.
Sound like you? To apply you need to be / have:
- Ideally MRICS or a similarly related Project Management qualification.
- Strong background in delivering project management for new build commercial buildings and significant refurbishment projects, particularly offices.
- Experience leading projects for diverse clients, managing schemes ranging from 2m to 50m+.
- Proven track record in delivering high-quality project management services from inception to completion.
- Ability to manage and develop client relationships effectively.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated.
- Excellent verbal, numerical, and report/proposal writing skills.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Flexibility to work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Well-presented with outstanding communication skills.
