Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work on an ongoing contract. The work will primarily be on extensions within domestic properties.
Job Description:
- Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
- Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.
- Coordinating work effort.
- Advising on legal and contractual issues.
- Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
- Examining and reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Gathering and preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, and risk assessments.
Personal Specification:
- Chartered Surveyor Degree Apprenticeship or equivalent
- Must hold Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
- Previous experience working in domestic properties
- Negotiable rate for either hourly rate or per price work
