Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is a fantastic opporrtunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading housebuilding company in the North East of England

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be overseeing 1-2 large projects within the region.

The role will include:

• Setting up budgets, producing bi-monthly valuations, appointing subcontractors and making subcontractor payments to maintain close cost control and enable management decisions
• Ensuring weekly and monthly payments are processed efficiently, any disputed items are resolved, allowing site works to proceed unhindered and give an accurate picture of site financial status
• Producingsite valuations on a bi-monthly basis
• Mentoring and training junior members of the team and developing their skills to a sufficient level where they can take on more responsibility and add value to the team
