Randstad Enterprise is actively looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support with ongoing projects for our client who is a leader in sustainable energy

This role is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, with travel to sites in Scotland and surrounding areas required. This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in contract management and contribute to a variety of construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Support project managers in identifying and evaluating risks and opportunities.

  • Administer subcontracts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Manage subcontract and supplier final account settlements.

  • Ensure timely submission of contractual notifications.

  • Manage project changes and claims, both incoming and outgoing.

  • Provide contractual advice and support to project teams.

  • Develop and improve contract and claim management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Quantity Surveying and Contract Management.

  • In-depth knowledge of NEC Contracts; familiarity with FIDIC and MF/1 is desirable.

  • Experience with M&E and Civil construction is advantageous.

  • Competence in Claim Management and commercial principles.

  • Strong negotiation and collaboration skills.

  • Chartered Quantity Surveyor status (RICS / CICES) is advantageous.
