Our client, a leading charity organisation, is seeking a Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis for 4 weeks. This is a fantastic opportunity to support an incredible cause and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

  • Start date: 18th November
  • Duration: 4 weeks cover
  • Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break (37.5 hours per week)
  • Location: Outskirts of Newcastle City Centre, NE4
  • Free parking available on site
  • Hourly rate: 12.00ph paid on a weekly basis through OA

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors and ensuring they feel valued and attended to.
  • Answering and directing incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Managing the organisation's inbox and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Providing general administrative support such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Assisting with event coordination and preparation.
  • Maintaining an organised and tidy reception area.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative support role is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
