Role Overview:Compliance Officer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Administrator to join ourteam. This critical role focuses on managing core human resources functions andsupporting the smooth operation of administrative processes within theorganisation.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records, both physically and electronically, including contact details, right-to-work documentation, reference checks, DBS checks, and training certifications.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including drafting job advertisements, shortlisting candidates, scheduling interviews, negotiating terms of employment, and issuing Offer Letters, Employment Contracts, and Confirmation Letters.
- Oversee onboarding processes, including welcoming new employees, setting up workspaces, and ensuring all documentation is completed.
- Ensure all staff have working mobile phone and use it in accordance with their contract.
- Administer the Sponsorship Management System (SMS) in collaboration with immigration lawyers to manage overseas staff recruitment, Certificates of Sponsorship (COS), visa applications, and travel arrangements.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies, referring to legal advisors and QCS policy platforms when necessary.
- Conduct performance appraisals with managers, set objectives, and provide ongoing support.
- Support the handling of disciplinary matters, including meetings, investigations, and issuing relevant documents.
The person we arelooking for:
- A CIPD qualification would be desirable
- Computer literacy Microsoft Word/Excel/Office 365
- At least 1 year of experience in HR administration or a similar role.
- Ability to manage time and workload effectively.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to handle varied responsibilities efficiently.
- Solid understanding of confidentiality and regulatory compliance requirements.
