An exciting Nationwide Business Development Manager/National Account Manager position has arisen with this leading manufacturer of passively safe sign and signal posts and lighting columns. You will be selling across multiple sectors such as Roads & Infrastructure, Rail, Health, Ports and Architectural across the whole UK. If this sounds of interest, please apply ASAP.

LOCATION: You will manage a portfolio of customer across the whole UK and will cover the whole UK as a territory. You will work from home when you are not out visiting client.

SALARY: 60k to 80k as a basic salary (depending on experience) with performance related bonuses, giving another 10k on top. You will receive a fully expensed company car, fuel card, pension and 20 days annual leave.

You will be selling a wide range of passively safe sign and signal posts and lighting columns to large contractors and local authorities.

This role is all about specifying the products at the design stage of the process and hunting for the large-scale projects. The sectors you will focus on are Roads & Infrastructure, Rail, Health, Ports and Architectural.

You will inherit an account base of main-contractor accounts to manage, and you will also be responsible for hunting for tender opportunities as well as expanding and upselling with the existing accounts as much as possible.

Successful candidates will have experience selling to main contractors and local authorities, will have experience submitting public sector tenders and be able to read detailed construction drawings. You will have experience tendering for and winning large projects and knowledge of or experience selling road signage and/or lighting would be a distinct advantage.
