This role is essential in maintaining the venue’s strong reputation for high-quality drinks, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A valid liquor license is required for this position. If you already hold one and have a passion for running a well-organised, customer-focused bar, this could be the perfect next step in your career. About the Role This is a hands-on management position where you will take responsibility for the overall operation of the bar, ensuring service runs smoothly, staff are well-trained and motivated, and customers enjoy an excellent experience. You will work closely with the leadership team to drive business growth while keeping the bar stocked, compliant, and running efficiently. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day bar operations, ensuring a high standard of service at all times
  • Lead a team of permanent and casual bar staff, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and maintain an up-to-date liquor license
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and maintain an organised and well-stocked bar
  • Handle cash, tills, and financial reconciliations accurately
  • Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Work with management to develop promotions and drive bar sales
  • Oversee the drinks menu, ensuring it complements the venue’s craft beer selection
