We’re looking for a Food and Beverage Team Leader to join us.

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, with potential for additional hours. Shifts will be Friday- Monday, including weekends as standard, bank holidays and occasional evenings but no split shifts. Shifts will fall between the hours of 8am – 6pm (with occasional evening events throughout the year).

Salary: £11.64 an hour

Someone who can demonstrate the ability and drive to ‘hit the ground running,’ be very hands on as part of the team (both front & back of house) and who wants to be part of achieving our realistic and fulfilling goals. This role is incredibly varied and will suit someone with great initiative.

A driving license would be beneficial (but not essential) as senior team members can drive the on-site vehicles to move stock and travel between outlets.

As a Team Leader, you’ll be giving day-to-day support to your team, to make sure they’re consistently giving great service to everyone who comes to the cafĂ©. This is a busy, lively place to work, so you’ll need to be adaptable.

Your focus will be front and back of house, dealing directly with people and serving them food and drink. Crucial to this role will be your love of working with people, your positive ‘can-do’ attitude and your desire to provide an outstanding service.

Using your excellent eye for detail, you’ll make sure all displays and signs are accurate, and that the food is looking good. At times, you may need to help the kitchen team with preparing food.

You’ll also be supervising the induction and training of colleagues, to help build a team that’s dedicated to great service and to giving people a day to remember.

We’ll give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. You can sign up for further professional training and development if you wish.
