Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Business Development Manager based in the North East region. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and developing and implementing sales strategies. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for networking and attending industry events to expand their professional network.


Part of the Business Development Manager / Field Sales Representative will include:

Introducing new business customers to your portfolio

Maintaining and managing the customers already on your territory

Lead generation through various channels (leads may be provided and marketing activity conducted on your behalf, achievement of target within your given area will be entirely your responsibility)

The Business Development Manager / Field Sales Representative must be able to keep up a sales activity plan to assist in the successful achievement of targets and accurate sales forecasting.


The successful Business Development Manager / Field Sales Representative will have the following experience:

Minimum 2-3 years sales experience within a workplace solutions sales role

Be able to provide a track record of achieving and overachievement of set targets i.e., delivering £10k GP Per Month

Proven sales track record in a competitive environment, selling high value solution.

Experience of selling leasing equipment and contracts

Direct experience of telephone canvassing for new business appointments

Desire to get the job done, overcome obstacles with a 'can do attitude.

The ability to work under your own initiative is vital.

Suitable people will possess a good sense of humour with an ability to work under pressure and achieve stretching sales targets.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development and sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand and analyse market trends and client needs
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the Managed Print & Document Solutions market or related industry is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
