Working for an extremely iconic range of brands, you will be responsible for all sales activities across a defined area, through the successful management of customer relationships and the deliverance of budgetary requirements. Area includes North of England, Scotland, Nottingham and Yorkshire.

You will be expected to visit the Scottish based clients every 6 weeks for a period of up to 3 days.

Due to the nature of this role, you must have a full driving licence. A car allowance is offered together with uncapped commission.

General duties to include:

  • Establish, develop and maintain successful business relationships across a defined area
  • Support new customers accounts
  • Identify and create new accounts in specific markets
  • Present and sell company products via person/virtual meetings
  • Prepare an annual territory plan ahead of each financial year
  • Implement an effective journey plan, so customers receive in-person visits in accordance with their classification
  • Undertake regular in-store demonstration/training of selected products or range
  • Continuous review/assessment of customer orders to maintain a realistic company sales order book
  • Resolve customer problems and complaints
  • Work closely with customer services, logistics and marketing to ensure the best solutions are delivered
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and product knowledge
  • Follow up on all new leads and referrals
  • Identify and maximise new opportunities

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Pro-active and enthusiastic self-starter
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to collate and implement effective journey plans
  • Willing to act on own initiative and take decisions
  • Ability to reach a solution to the benefit of both the company and customer
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Flexible approach as this position can and will demand additional hours when major projects are in progress
