Description
- Handle day-to-day financial transactions such as invoicing, payments, and banking
- Maintain and update financial records
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports
- Coordinate with the Accounting & Finance team to ensure financial procedures are followed
- Support the annual budgeting and auditing processes
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Contribute to the team's objectives in the public sector
- Perform ad hoc financial tasks as required
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Demonstable experience in a similar Finance role
- Experience of preparing and analysing budgets
- Excellent numerical skills
- Good organisational abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience using financial software
Job Offer
Full time role + Hybrid working + Ongoing for the next 6 months (with a view to then extend for a further 12 months) + £20-23 p/h + Weekly pay + ASAP start.
