As a Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and maintaining classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher. This role involves covering Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a day-to-day basis, ensuring continuity of learning for students.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create your own when necessary.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and any issues encountered.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different school environments.
- A passion for education and a commitment to student development.
