ECT Maths Teacher Salary: £120 - £180 per day

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic early career teacher with a love for Maths? GSL Education’s Newcastle brunch is looking for someone just like you to inspire the next generation to employ an Early Career Teacher (ECT)Maths Teacher to work for a client school based in Newcastle from the upcoming September term. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, conscientious, and energetic candidate with a strong track record of raising attainment.

As a ECT Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that cater to a range of abilities.
• Use creative teaching methods to make Maths accessible and enjoyable for all students.
• Participate in extracurricular activities that enhance the learning experience.
• Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
• Contributing to the development of an innovative and challenging Maths curriculum.
• Utilizing a variety of teaching tools, including ICT and online resources, to captivate and motivate students.
• Upholding the school's ethos and behaviour management policies to promote a positive learning environment.
• Encouraging students to develop independent learning skills and a love for Math
• Actively participating in staff development days, meetings, and parents' evenings as required.

As a ECTMaths Teacher, essential requirements include:

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Be able to teach Maths to GCSE and A-Level standards.
• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• A desire to continually improve your teaching practice through feedback and professional development.
• Provide two professional references from within the last two years that relate to your teaching.
• Be a committed educator who understands how special educational needs affect the teaching and learning methods used by young people.
• Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
