Your new companyWe are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to join a secondary school in Newcastle starting in September 2024. For this job, the successful candidate will have a strong academic background and hold relevant teaching qualifications. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic lessons to a diverse range of students, and fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.Your new role- Delivering high-quality, engaging, and dynamic English lessons to students aged 11-16- Creating and implementing lesson plans in line with the National Curriculum- Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to students and parents- Supporting students with their academic and personal development- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the wider life of the schoolWhat you'll need to succeed- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications- Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- A commitment to providing high-quality education and supporting students' academic and personal developmentWhat you'll get in return

- Salary: £140-£238 - paid to scale
- Contract Type: Temporary ongoing
- Start Date: Sep 2024
- End Date: December 2024 - possible extension
