We are recruiting for a Graduate Learning Support Assistant for a large 11-18 Secondary School in the Newcastle area, to work on a full-time, long-term basis, starting as soon as possible!

Your role & responsibilities:

? Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs

? Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support

? Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey

? Delivering catch-up and intervention sessions

Non-negotiables:

? Recent university degree of 2:2 classification or above

? Good Numeracy and Literacy skills

? Clear desire to work with children and young people

? Previous experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, but not essential

? Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school
