My client are a leading Fire Protection Business and are looking to recruit a Fire AlarmEngineer servicing and maintaning fire alarms. They are looking for someone to cover the Newcastleand surrounding areas

Role - Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 34,000.00-38,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday with OOH and weekend cover

An experienced Engineer is a necessity.

Responsibilities:
Perform service and maintenance on Fire Alarm and Emergency Lights

Conduct inspections and tests to ensure systems are functioning properly and in compliance with regulations

Troubleshoot and repair any issues with fire protection equipment

Install new fire protection systems as needed

Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

To be able to report system defects/problems accurately

To be able to work unsupervised for periods of time Complete Paperwork to a professional standard Organise own scheduling and replenishment van stock

Experience:
Previous experience as a fire engineer or in a similar role is essential

Knowledge of fire protection systems and equipment

Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This position requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work in various environments. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
