Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Relief Security Officer to join our passionate and driven team based at several of our client’s sites in the Newcastle/Gateshead/County Durham Area

OCS is looking to increase the Security Relief Team across this area, roles include day, night and weekend shifts with a mixture of security work across several sites.

The Officer will provide access and egress control to site, monitor CCTV, manage visitors, and complete reports

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control access to the premises.
  • Ability to follow policies and procedures with strict access control arrangements.
  • Monitor CCTV,
  • Ability to liaise with the client and fill in incident reports.
  • Conduct thorough security checks on individuals and vehicles entering and exiting the site.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the premises during the assigned shifts.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Officer to provide access and egress control to site
  • Ensuring all visitors are signed in as per site security requirements.
  • To ensure the delivery of consistently high standards of customer service.
  • To promote and uphold the principles of security in accordance with the policies and directive.
  • To manage access and egress to site
  • To adhere to the company’s dress code and wear correct uniform.
  • To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s health and safety policy and health and safety management plans.

  • Must be able to carry out duties whilst lone working and as part of a team be confident filling in necessary paperwork.

  • A Criminal Record Check, employment history and Right to Work check.
  • SIA LICENSE Is a requirement.
  • CCTV License is desirable
  • Driving License is preferable
