The Royal British Legion’s Outreach Service currently operates in England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland and provides, responsive, holistic, and person-centred support, to beneficiaries experiencing complex and often isolating challenges in relation to homelessness, mental health, addiction and dependency, domestic abuse, the Criminal Justice system, and children/families at risk. We are delighted to announce that we are now recruiting for a Regional Outreach Officer – North East to join our team.As a Regional Outreach Officer, you will be responsible for managing a complex beneficiary caseload, supporting and working alongside beneficiaries across Northumberland, Newcastle, North Tyneside and Ireland, providing advice, guidance and advocacy support to achieve outcomes that will have a positive impact on their lives.Led by the Regional Lead Outreach, you will form part of the Outreach North East team, working in collaboration with wider Regional Outreach team members across the UK as required.The role is homebased, with the requirement to travel for beneficiary face to face appointments and other organisational meetings and training across North East and Ireland.
