Children's Social Worker - Safe and Supported TeamWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our Safe and Supported Team. In this role, you will play a vital part in promoting the well-being of children and families, providing early intervention and support to prevent harm and promote positive outcomes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of families facing challenges, identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and needs.
  • Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to develop and implement individualised support plans that address their specific needs and promote their well-being.
  • Offer practical and emotional support to families, including parenting support, family therapy, and linking them to relevant community resources.
  • Champion the needs of families, ensuring they have access to appropriate services and support, and their voices are heard.
  • Work closely with other professionals, including health visitors, school staff, and other agencies, to ensure a coordinated response to families' needs.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker: Must hold a relevant Social Work qualification (e.g. DipSW, BSc, MA) and be registered with Social Care England.
  • DBS: Update service

We are looking for social workers with a strong understanding of child protection principles, proven experience working with children and families, and a genuine commitment to supporting families to build their capacity to care for their children.
