The CompanyWe're supporting a tech product business based in Newcastle who're looking to add an experienced developer to their team. In just under 10 years they've built up a market leading solution used by a number of well known companies across the UK and continue to grow but need the technical teams in place to do so.The RoleYou'll be joining an experienced team of backend developers, working on .net Framework and .net Core, supporting the legacy platform, adding new features whilst also helping to move the solution from monolith to microservices. This is a fully hands on role, building backend services and fitting into a wider technical team which includes frontend and mobile developers. The PersonCandidates will need to have experience in .net Framework and .net Core with strong skills in C#, able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of best practice in software development, using processes such as SOLID or Object Orientated. Exposure to Git Version Control and Azure management, such as Azure pipelines or VM Management, would be advantageous. You should be a competent hands on developer, confident in your abilities and able to be productive quite quickly once joining the team.The role will require you to be in the office, in Newcastle city centre, two days per week and is paying up to £50,000.
