Shaping the technology landscape, driving innovation and ensuring the business are set up to deliver exceptional solutions to the customer, you'll collaborate with a Senior Leadership Team to set the strategic direction, while mentoring and developing engineers. The PersonWe're looking for a confident, technically proficient leader to guide our software engineering teams. You'll inspire and empower our engineers to deliver exceptional products.

Proven experience leading software engineering teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Strong technical background, including experience with mobile app development and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships.
Ability to solve complex problems, make data-driven decisions, and manage multiple priorities.
Experience with security frameworks (ISO27001, PCI) and compliance requirements.

This is a leadership role and will require candidates who're able to build relationships across the business. This is best done in person and so you'll need to be able to spend 2 days per week in the office, Newcastle city centre. The role comes with a salary of up to £120,000 and generous benefits package, including bonus.
