Junior Developer - Northeast - C++ - £24K-£30K- hybrid - flexible working hours - 24 days holiday + BH
This is an exciting opportunity as a Software Engineer to support the development of new innovations for a broad spectrum of manufacturing companies. The foundation of their code is C++ and this long-standing code base empowers customers to apply innovations in their own manufacturing and quality processes. Your code will allow global customers to measure parts large and small (to extreme tolerances), and will, enable military and commercial aircraft to fly, F1 teams get to the front of the grid and huge gas turbines to be manufactured faster than ever before.
The role
You will be an active team member supporting complex product deliveries that will include multiple colleagues, as well as project teams . You will have abundant opportunity to impact the growth of the company by driving the constant improvement of their existing products and new, emerging projects. You will be responsible for writing excellent code that complies with the company's coding standards, as well as working within a team to to contribute ideas for product development and feature.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Good understanding of object orientated design and programming
- The ability to work in a team as well as an individual
Desirable
- Experience/knowledge around C++
- Experience/knowledge around C#
- 3D graphics
- Knowledge of metrology/CMM measurement
