We are seeking an experienced and proactive senior-level software developer who demonstrates:

  • Exceptional coding and problem-solving skills: Capable of tackling complex, high-impact technical challenges with a methodical and innovative approach. This individual should have a keen eye for identifying potential issues and the foresight to implement solutions that improve overall system stability and performance.
  • Deep expertise in object-oriented programming: Proficiency in key programming languages such as Java, PHP, or C# is essential, along with a mastery of software design principles and best practices. This role demands an ability to write clean, modular, and scalable code that can be efficiently maintained and extended as the business grows.
  • Extensive experience with front-end web servers: Hands-on experience with web servers like Nginx or Apache is important for managing and optimising the server environment, configuring load balancing, and ensuring seamless server operations. This includes fine-tuning server configurations, implementing security protocols, and maximising performance for high-traffic applications.
  • Strong capabilities in resilient, scalable database design: In-depth knowledge of MySQL and/or Hibernate for designing, implementing, and optimising database architectures that support high-performance and fault-tolerant applications.
  • A high level of accountability and ownership for project success: The ideal candidate takes end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, from initial concept through to deployment and post-release support. This entails managing timelines, overseeing quality assurance, collaborating effectively across teams, and ensuring each project meets all functional and technical requirements.
