Inspire Young Minds as a SEN Teaching Assistant!Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join our excellent Primary School in Alnwick. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:· Support pupils with challenging behaviour and SEN, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. · Manage challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive, and consistent manner. · Build positive relationships with Class Teachers to discuss and implement effective strategies and learning activities. · Prepare resources for lessons to enhance learning experiences. · Supervise pupils during break and lunchtime as required. · Engage actively with pupils, forming positive rapport and encouraging their learning. Key Requirements:· Enhanced DBS check (ideally on the Update Service; we can process a new one if necessary). · A recognised Childcare-based qualification is preferred, but not essential. · Strong ability to build relationships and rapport with pupils and staff. · Resilient, proactive, and positive nature to handle challenges effectively. · Experience in classroom support is beneficial, though not essential. · High levels of enthusiasm, energy, and positivity when working with pupils. · A genuine passion for helping young people fulfil their potential and flourish in their education.
