Salary: £130 - £180 per day
GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced ASD Teacher to join a secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. This role is ideal for a dedicated teacher with a passion for working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the needs of students with ASD.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Work closely with support staff and other professionals to meet the needs of students.
- Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching students with ASD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and making a difference in students' lives.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
