The Opportunity:Nigel Wright Group are excited to be partnering with a rapidly growing global SaaS technology company in their search for a self-driven Sales Engineer. This a brand new role for the UK which will align with the rest of the business. The Sales Engineer is responsible for partnering with the sales team to develop compelling presentations and product demonstrations in order to position the solutions to their customers. This role is hybrid with at least one day based in the Newcastle city centre office.Role Profile:•    Work with enterprise and mid-market accounts, partnering with the sales team to uncover customer’s business goals•    Participate in sales calls and meetings to illustrate the product’s business value to customers at all levels and show how it can fit into their technology stack•    Create compelling presentations and collateral to demonstrate the solutions•    Deliver product demonstrations, building proof-of-concepts and custom product environments to showcase the product•    Act as the customer's main technical point of contact and lead the sale to a technical close•    Provide consultation, expertise, thought leadership, and responsiveness to drive business and revenue growth and accelerate customer expansion•    Be a master user and act as a knowledge expert•    Take ownership of continuous improvement and refinement of discovery process, demo scripts, and value add use cases•    Assist with high-level requirements gathering and RFI/RFP processPerson Specification:•    5+ years in a fast paced, SaaS high tech Sales Engineer/ Solutions Consultant (Presales) role•    Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with excellent presentation skills•    Experience in a fast-paced organisation, successfully balancing multiple projects in a team-selling environment•    Ability to set and manage expectations, resources and time•    Engaging, prescriptive and persuasive communication style•    Previous exposure to basic web development and cloud security concepts•    Experience presenting and delivering technical pitches•    Ability to work well and contribute independently as well as in a team environment•    Passion for technology and a love for working in a fast-paced start-up environment•    Willingness to support a customer base across multiple time zones•    An understanding of customers in the financial services/healthcare/tech/insurance sectors would be advantageous•    Experience selling revenue enablement, knowledge management, sales engagement, coaching, or learning technologies would be ideal
