Description for the Network and Infrastructure Manager role:- This is a fantastic opportunity with a technology division of a global company. The role will involve managing a Systems Administration and Infrastructure team (c10 people) in a fast-paced technology environment and requires a good understanding of Kubernetes, Linux administration and hands on Network configuration/Toubleshooting. Ideally you should possess knowledge of virtualisation technologies, Datacentre infrastructure and Puppet/Ansible. This will be joining their growing practise and will offer great opportunities for career growth.
The role can be remote, but will require travelling to Newcastle for meetings 1-2 days a month
Experience required for the Network and Infrastructure Manager roles-
- 5yrs+ commercial experience in an infrastructure role
- Team leading/Management experience
- Linux administration skills
- Ideally Kubernetes knowledge
- Solid networking/Security understanding/experience
- Ansible, Docker
- Scripting
Salary for the Network and Infrastructure Manager role will be negotiable dependent on experience but expect £80,000 to £90,000 basic + benefits package depending on experience.
