Sonic Summary

We are seeking a motivated Tool Room Technician for a market-leading manufacturer in North Shields, Newcastle.
The role offers a salary of £42,000 plus overtime and requires experience with mould tools.
The successful candidate will be involved in planned and reactive maintenance and will report directly to the Tool Room Manager.
An HNC in Mechanical or General Engineering is advantageous, and being apprentice trained in Toolmaking is preferred.
This position is ideal for a strong tooling engineer looking for a challenging role within a secure and stable company.

We are looking for a motivated Tool Room Technician to join a market leading manufacturer. Reporting directly to the Tool Room Manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong tooling engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description:

* Tool repair and maintenance

* Programming, setting and operating grinding machines

Skills and Qualifications:

* Experience with mould tools

* HNC Mechanical or General Engineering - Advantageous

* Apprentice Trained - Toolmaking
