A Teacher of Design Technology and Food Technology is required for a lovely secondary school in the Newcastle area. The successful candidate will deliver the subjects of Design Technology and Food Technology across KS3 and KS4. This is a part time role will begin ASAP working on a rotating two weekly basis with every Thursday off. Ideally the candidate would have a current workshop certificate (renewable every 5 years), but the school would consider someone who would be able to demonstrate the necessary experience and skills.The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
The ideal Teacher of Design Technology and Food Technology candidate would:
- Have good classroom management skills
- Have a passion for working as a Teacher of Design Technology and Food Technology
- Have excellent subject knowledge
- Be able to organise themselves
- Be able to plan effective, engaging Design Technology and Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4
We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.
