Key responsibilities:

  • The main responsibilities of this role include the delivery and assessment of high-quality learning programmes in light vehicle maintenance and repair, across a range of levels of further education and apprenticeship provision, as well as undertaking a range of programme leadership, tutorial and programme administration duties.
  • This post requires a strong background?in?light vehicle maintenance?and the candidate must?have proven track record of professional / vocational expertise in the?Automotive?sector.
  • The candidate will have a good understanding of apprenticeship provision and EPA.

Qualifications:

  • The candidate must be qualified to honours degree level?(Level 6) or qualified to the industry-recognised standard?in a relevant?field.
  • Hold a post-16 teaching qualification and English and maths qualifications at level 2 or be willing to achieve these within an agreed timeframe.?
  • It is desirable that the candidate has experience of effective programme leadership in FE and?Apprenticeships and has a proven track record of successful teaching and assessment practice
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
