Day-to-Day of the Role
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver high-quality education and training programmes in multi-skills construction.
  • Teach and assess construction qualifications, ensuring learners are employment and apprenticeship ready.
  • Maintain discipline and safe working practices within the classroom and workshop environments.
  • Deliver both practical training in dedicated workshops and theoretical knowledge in classroom settings.
  • Create and manage learning plans and schemes of work.
  • Engage in tutorial duties and provide counselling services to students on various matters.
  • Liaise with parents, guardians, schools, and employers as necessary.
  • Participate in curriculum development and manage specified courses or subject areas.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in teaching and assessing in the field of construction.
  • Strong ability to prepare and deliver engaging course material across a range of programmes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining discipline and promoting safe working practices.
  • Experience in curriculum development and course management.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
