Day-to-Day of the Role- Develop, prepare, and deliver high-quality education and training programmes in multi-skills construction.
- Teach and assess construction qualifications, ensuring learners are employment and apprenticeship ready.
- Maintain discipline and safe working practices within the classroom and workshop environments.
- Deliver both practical training in dedicated workshops and theoretical knowledge in classroom settings.
- Create and manage learning plans and schemes of work.
- Engage in tutorial duties and provide counselling services to students on various matters.
- Liaise with parents, guardians, schools, and employers as necessary.
- Participate in curriculum development and manage specified courses or subject areas.
- Proven experience in teaching and assessing in the field of construction.
- Strong ability to prepare and deliver engaging course material across a range of programmes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining discipline and promoting safe working practices.
- Experience in curriculum development and course management.
