Back to searchKinetic Recruitment are currently resourcing for a Maintenance Technician (Multiskilled) for a client based in Newcastle Upon Tyne on a permanent contract. As Maintenance Technician you will work as part of a team to ensure all plant and machinery is available and reliable on site. Tending to breakdowns in a fast and efficient manner minimising downtime.
Main responsibilities will include:
To carry out planned maintenance to the required standard.
To carry out reactive maintenance when required
To be able to coordinate and cooperate with production supervision on a day to day basis, to ensure the smooth running and availability of plant and equipment
Continuous promotion of best H&S practise
To proactively help reduce function accident statistics
Shift pattern TBC, candidates must be flexible to work on a 2 shift or a 3 shift pattern.
Mechanical or Electrical qualification HNC or equivalent.
Candidates must have worked in a maintenance role previously within heavy engineering/ manufacturing in a fast paced environment.
PLC experience would be an advantage.
