Were seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, Electrical Design Engineer to join our prestigious client near Keele!

If you have experience in electrical control systems design and thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Were looking for someone who is technically competent, self-motivated, a multitasker, and passionate about innovation. Experience with Eplan and AutoCAD Electrical is essential.

This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!

What youll be doing

Design and develop electrical schematics using Eplan and AutoCAD Electrical
Ensure high-quality supporting documentation is produced for efficient manufacturing
Liaise with clients and suppliers to create effective and economical designs
Maintain strong client relationships and deliver outstanding service
Keep company designs aligned with current legislation and best practices
Work with PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, and intelligent control products
Collaborate with a team to deliver innovative automation solutions
Stay ahead of industry trends in industrial automation and networks

Hours

Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (flexible)

Pay

£37,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Skills/Experience Required

Essential:

A valid UK driving licence
Industry knowledge with understanding of related disciplines
Familiarity with VSD and soft start technology
Strong understanding of legislative compliance and relevant standards
Experience in panel design, assembly, and wiring
BTEC / HNC / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification in industrial automation
Flexible, proactive, and a great team player
Excellent prioritisation and workload management skills
Leadership skills and the ability to mentor others
A forward-thinking, problem-solving mindset

Desirable:

Knowledge of SCADA, networks, and telemetry principles
Experience in PLC, software, and system design/integration
