Were seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, Electrical Design Engineer to join our prestigious client near Keele!

Were looking for someone who is technically competent, self-motivated, a multitasker, and passionate about innovation. Experience with Eplan and AutoCAD Electrical is essential.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent position!
What youll be doing
- Design and develop electrical schematics using Eplan and AutoCAD Electrical
- Ensure high-quality supporting documentation is produced for efficient manufacturing
- Liaise with clients and suppliers to create effective and economical designs
- Maintain strong client relationships and deliver outstanding service
- Keep company designs aligned with current legislation and best practices
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, and intelligent control products
- Collaborate with a team to deliver innovative automation solutions
- Stay ahead of industry trends in industrial automation and networks
Hours
Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (flexible)
Pay
£37,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Skills/Experience Required
Essential:
- A valid UK driving licence
- Industry knowledge with understanding of related disciplines
- Familiarity with VSD and soft start technology
- Strong understanding of legislative compliance and relevant standards
- Experience in panel design, assembly, and wiring
- BTEC / HNC / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification in industrial automation
- Flexible, proactive, and a great team player
- Excellent prioritisation and workload management skills
- Leadership skills and the ability to mentor others
- A forward-thinking, problem-solving mindset
Desirable:
- Knowledge of SCADA, networks, and telemetry principles
- Experience in PLC, software, and system design/integration
