UK Managing Director/CEO Leading UK Retailer

My client is a £300 million TO retail business currently operating out of 100 stores and is looking to become number 1 in terms of retail brand in the UK through a total refurbishment of all 100 stores and a growth plan to increase coverage throughout the UK.

I am looking for someone to head this massive change project and join them as UK MD/CEO.

The parent company is Italian so we would desire you to be fluent in Italian although open to candidates who speak fluent French, as you will be joining a European company who has a proven reputation across Europe for being the number 1 retailer in terms of quality and experience. I need someone who can work at speed, a solution finder, someone with a positive energy who thrives on managing change!

Location wise you can be based pretty much anywhere in the UK, as the stores cover the whole of the UK, however you will need to be happy to attend key senior meetings in the North of England.

Specific responsibilities/must haves:

Someone who is capable of managinga £300 million TO retail business

At least (ideally 10) years of running a customer facing retail business in the UK

Proven track record in managing change/refurbishments/total rebrand

Someone who is hot on creating consistencies across all of the 100 retail outlets and implementing lasting processes

Someone to Drive sales growth by identifying prime new sites for stores
