Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting an Environmental Team Manager to work within a Local Authority on a temporary basis.

Key responsibilities of the Environmental Team Manager:

  • Managed the effective delivery of the following statutory functions: Investigation of nuisance, Regulation of pollution control, the Clean Air Act, Regulation of Private Water Supplies, Local Authority Air Quality Work, Contaminated Land, Consultee to Licensing and Consultee to Planning Department
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality, customer-focussed, cost-effective service by creating a high-performing service and people-focussed culture through effective people management
  • To be responsible for the efficient execution of the range of duties commensurate with the professional competence of a qualified Environmental Health Officer (EHRB registered).
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Environmental Protection Team in accordance with the Council's decisions, Scheme of Delegation, Standing Orders and Financial Regulations and operational policies and procedures and to develop the Service in accordance with the policies, practices, priorities and standards set by the Council.

The successful Environmental Team Manager will have:

  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Full clean driving license
