Are you an experienced Claims Handler seeking a new challenge with a team that excels beyond industry standards?

Our client boasts over a century of combined claims expertise, providing you with the opportunity to grow, broaden your knowledge across diverse insurance products, and pursue professional qualifications.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Managing a caseload of insurance claims across a multi-client team
  • Overseeing all stages of the claims process from initiation to resolution
  • Responding to inquiries from customers, clients, and suppliers in a timely manner
  • Assuming responsibility for a key aspect of the customer experience throughout their insurance claim journey
  • Communicating with clients, customers, and suppliers through an omni-channel approach, including email, phone, and a bespoke messaging service
  • As a senior role, demonstrating self-motivation, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and operate with a high degree of autonomy
  • Undertaking leadership responsibilities, including managing a team of surveyors within a designated region, as well as triaging insurance claims and appointing appropriate suppliers to ensure optimal outcomes for the customer while managing costs for the insurer

We're looking for someone who:

  • Prior experience in customer service, with a focus on preventing and resolving complaints
  • Experience within the insurance industry, specifically in household insurance
  • Relevant qualifications such as Buildings Insurance for Claims Handlers, Technical Modules, or other job-related technical certifications
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to navigate and utilize multiple systems effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks efficiently
