Academics are seeking a motivated and experienced Year 1 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Newcastle-under-Lyme for a one-term assignment starting in January. You'll take on full teaching responsibilities for a Year 1 class of 25 pupils, including 3 children with SEND, with excellent support from a dedicated teaching assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, adapting to meet the diverse needs of the class.
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring that each child is given the opportunity to succeed.
- Planning and marking aswell as attending some staff meetings on Monday's
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally with a Year 1 class.
- Experience working with SEND pupils and a strong commitment to inclusive teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with pupils and colleagues.
- Flexibility and resilience to adapt in a supply role while maintaining high teaching standards.
