Calibre Search are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to join a busy and growing firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Newcastle under Lyme.

In this role, you will provide essential support to the Property Management department, assisting with the management of both residential and commercial properties, including block management and service charge properties. The role will also involve supporting Landlord and Tenant work and Agency-related tasks when required.

Duties:

  • Collecting rent and ensuring timely payment.
  • Addressing property management issues, including repairs and maintenance, and liaising with contractors where required.
  • Conducting property inspections, both internally and externally, and preparing detailed reports.
  • Organising and tendering schedules of works for maintenance and repair.
  • Forecasting service charge budgets and conducting cost analysis.
  • Overseeing financial management within the department.
  • Managing lease renewals and rent reviews.
  • Chairing residents' meetings, taking minutes, and distributing as needed.
  • Reviewing lease/shorthold tenancy documents and inventories.
  • Ensuring effective and professional communication with landlords, tenants, contractors, accountants, and solicitors.
