About the Role

We are seeking a HCPC Registered Psychologist to lead the Psychological Services Department.

You will design and develop the full clinical offer for the organisation to be utilised within the Residential properties and specialist school. You will ensure this offering is rolled out across the group working with Teachers, Residential Care Practitioners and Support Staff across the group to ensure it is delivered to the highest standard.

As part of this offering you will build a team of clinical support staff to ensure the support is in place for the program to be a success.

Once rolled out, you will ensure the program is running successfully across the organisation by continuing to work closely with your team, and all staff working with the young people in our care. This will include structured training programmes, check ins, consultations and on-site support with the teams.

You will complete initial clinical assessments for all young people coming in to the organisation. You will oversee their individual program, developments, successes and take the appropriate steps to ensure the success of the programme including interventions and changes. You will also be responsible for Completion of monthly clinical consultations to support Residential Care Practitioners (RCPs) in their work

About You

You will be an experienced psychological practitioner with a passion for helping young people to thrive. You will have extensive experience of working with young people, ideally in the LAC system. You will be an excellent communicator, organised and have great attention to detail.
