I am working with a leading architectural firm in Newcastle-under-Lyme seeking a bright and ambitious Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.
About the Role:
In this role, you will gain valuable experience across all aspects of quantity surveying within the architectural sector. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents
- Analysing tenders and negotiating contracts
- Monitoring project budgets and cost control
- Identifying and managing project risks
- Working collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals
- Contributing to the development of strong client relationships
You will be a great fit if you:
- Have a recent degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Possess excellent numeracy and analytical skills
- Are a strong communicator with a clear and concise writing style
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel)
- Have a passion for the construction industry and a desire to learn
- Are a team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Hold a valid full UK Drivers Licence
