Responsibilities include ensuring outstanding outcomes for learners, meeting key performance targets, and contributing to programme design and development. The role spans teaching full-time, part-time, and apprenticeship programmes, with a particular focus on Level 3 and above. Key duties also include preparing and marking assessments, tracking student progress, and developing flexible learning materials.



The ideal candidate will hold a relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Design Engineering) and demonstrate technical expertise at an advanced level. Prior industry experience is essential, along with current knowledge that aligns with industry standards. A teaching qualification (or a willingness to obtain one) is required, along with strong organisational skills to manage a dynamic workload. The candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve exceptional outcomes while contributing to the growth of the engineering curriculum.

The person
*Ideally holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but candidates with a HNC or HND will also be considered based on experience.
*Needs to have a proven track record working as an engineering lecturer having experience working in a FE college.
