The Company:
Our client based in Newent (GL18) is looking for an HGV 2 driver to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

The Opportunity:
HGV 2 driver, 12-week temp to perm, with experience of multi drop work and good customer service, between 3-6 heavy drops per shift.
Monday to Friday shift pattern, with around 40-50 hours worked per week, anything over 40 hours week is paid at time and a half.
Start times will be between 03:00am 04:00am and the job will include a lot of manual handling of some heavy goods so to be physically fit is important for this role.
The company deliver to all parts of the UK, so there may be some nights out so please be aware and willing to do this, although these will be minimal!
Pay
Basic rate £15.69 per hour depending on experience.
Overtime rate (post 40 hours per week) - £23.53

Key Requirements:
HGV 2 licence, Digital Tachograph Card, CPC Card
You have held you HGV 2 licence for one year
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
Unfortunately, we cannot take anyone with a DR10 on their licence
