Are you passionate about community safety and making a difference? Our client is seeking a dedicated Anti-Social Behaviour & Nuisance Manager to join their dynamic team in Newham, London. This temporary role offers the chance to lead initiatives that promote a safe and harmonious environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate a comprehensive response to anti-social behaviour (ASB) and nuisance, involving key partners and services.
  • Manage a team of skilled ASB Investigators, fostering a culture of problem-solving and high performance.
  • Collaborate with the Metropolitan Police, housing providers, and stakeholders to support vulnerable residents.
  • Produce insightful performance reports to drive service improvements.
  • Lead strategic approaches to tackle ASB cases and ensure effective case management.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong understanding of community safety legislation and ASB protocols.
  • Proven experience in partnership working and delivering successful outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.
  • A proactive leader who can motivate a team and manage varied workloads.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level or possess relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with IT systems and performance monitoring.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local government service provision and community safety legislation.
  • Extensive working knowledge of all relevant legislation including use of all tools and powers to reduce/prevent Anti-Social Behaviour and noise, particularly at the neighbourhood level.
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and other landlord related obligations in relation to ASB & noise as set out in relevant legislation and best practice.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the operation and application of a range of IT systems, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, etc.
