Lab Technician. Our client is looking for a lab technician to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a global company. Benefits:- Life Assurance 2X annual salary - Cycle to work scheme - 28 day free local Bus saver - Long service holiday award 5 years = 1 day extra holiday allowance - 23 day annual holiday + Bank holidays - Benefit hub - Employee Assistance Program Key Responsibilities:- Assist in interpreting and understanding technical drawings, schematics, and manuals. - Conduct basic quality control tests on components and final products. - Support in reviewing test procedures and instructions before testing begins. - Help set up test environments and run tests on various systems and components. - Record and analyze test results to identify any issues or defects. - Assist in troubleshooting and fixing basic technical problems under supervision. - Document test findings, technical issues, and solutions. - Contribute to maintaining and organizing lab equipment and test stations. - Ensure all work follows industry safety and quality standards. Skills Required: Essential:- Some experience or exposure to testing electronic or mechanical systems (can include internships or lab work in education). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data entry and report writing. - Good attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions. - Basic troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, permanent days.
