You will be working with children aged 3 months to 5 years, which can be tailored to your preferences. You will be able to work in your desired location in Newhaven and work around your own commitments. When the nurseries are typically open, we are inundated with work and will be able to provide you with as much or as little as you need.Your new roleAs nursery bank staff, you will be expected to support the early years settings, working where required; supporting the other nursery staff, helping set up and tidy the room, playing with the children and ensuring the environment is safe at all times. You won't be expected to complete any learning diaries, so this is a great opportunity to gain confidence and learn new skills. The role as a temporary practitioner means you have complete flexibility over the days you would like to work week by week.What you'll need to succeedWe are looking for ideally level 2 or level 3 qualified early years practitioners. However, we are open to unqualified nursery assistants having recent relevant experience that can be referenced. You will need to be reliable, adaptable and enthusiastic; the nurseries that you are placed in will expect you to be hands-on and willing to help out in the setting.What you'll get in returnYou will receive a competitive hourly salary, including holiday pay.
