FPR Group are recruiting for a Factory Operative at one of the south coast's leading fragrance companies. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a great eye for detail who has a good ability to use their own initiative. This role is a temporary position until the new year with the possibility of being extended.

Joining the factory team as a Compound Operative will provide the imperative link between the manufacturing and distribution process, making you a crucial member of the team.

Your daily duties will include the manufacturing and mixing of fragrance compounds according to the formula sheets. You will package the fragrances and perform quality check on the fragrances and the packaging ensuring a high level of accuracy. You will be expected to keep your work station clean and tidy and you may be required to operate the filling line

Working hours Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm and 3pm finish on Fridays. 36.5 hours a week.

Qualities and attributes a successful candidate will have:

  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative
  • Good organisation and the skill to effectively prioritise tasks
  • Good math skills (percentages)
  • Basic IT literacy
  • Precision and accuracy
  • Physically fit- heavy lifting will be involved.
  • A willingness to learn and develop skills
