We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead a team of around 40 people in a fast paced manufacturing and production role. As the Production Manager you’ll take full responsibility for the manufacturing department of this well established business in Newhaven.
As a Production Manager you will:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the production team, ensuring performance management processes are in place
- Work alongside the quality and engineering teams to ensure that products are thoroughly tested and compliant with specifications
- Support the manufacturing teams with product issues
- Produce project documentation as necessary
- Support continuous improvements and lean activities
- Support on project budgeting and cost management
- Ensure full compliance with QSHE
Skills & experience required:
- You’ll need previous experience as a Production Manager from within a manufacturing environment
- Strong team management skills are required
- Knowledge of quality and health and safety within manufacturing is essential
- Ideally you’ll hold Six Sigma Green +
